In response to Jeff Stone's proposal to turn South California as the 51st U.S. state (please read article HERE), Gil Duran, a spokesman for California Gov. Jerry Brown, said the Republican Chairman on the Riverside County Board of Supervisors' move is "a supremely ridiculous waste of everybody's time."
"If you want to live in a Republican state with very conservative right-wing laws, then there's a place called Arizona," Duran said.
