She may have lose the American Idol title, but look at her now...a full-pledge recording artist with debut single coming out very soon.
Pia Toscano, who didn't even make it in American Idol Season 10's top 8 finalists, has signed a record deal with Interscope Records and will be coming out with an album anytime before the year ends.
But while waiting for that, Pia is set to release her first single title "This Time" on July 12.
"I am thrilled to be joining the Interscope and 19 Recordings family," Toscano said.
Toscano will perform "This Time" during the American Idols Live! 2011 tour which kicks off outside of Salt Lake City, UT on July 6 and will continue until September 10 in Rochester, NY.
"This Time" was written and co-produced by Esther Dean, who is known for writing hits for artists including Katy Perry; Rihanna; The Voice coach Christina Aguilera; and tenth-season Dancing with the Stars champion, former The Sing-off judge and upcoming The X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger.
