She was born in Alwar Rajasthan on 12 January 1973. Sakshi finished her graduation from Lady Sri Ram college in New Delhi.
TELEVISION
The actress began her television career with Ekta Kapoor's famous soap opera Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. She played the lead role of an ideal bahu named Parvati. This serial brought her in to the limelight and after completing this she played a strong character in Devi aired on Sony TV.
Sakshi also hosted a reality show named Gurukul. She has given guest apperances in a number of serials like Kahiin To Hoga, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kavyanjali, Ab Ayega Mazaa, Ajeeb and more. Dance show Yeh Hai Jalwa was hosted by her and Smirti Z Irani. In Ekta Kapoor's Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki she played the role of Ganga.
