"Teen Mom" star Amber Portwood plead guilty to two felony counts of domestic violence before Madison Superior Court judge David Happe last Thursday as part of a plea deal to avoid additional jail time.
Amber was arrested last year and charged with two counts of felony domestic charges - one felony count of neglect of a dependent and one misdemeanor of domestic violence and battery for several incidents - after an episode of "Teen Mom" aired showing her hitting ex-fiancé Gary Shirley in front of their baby daughter Leah.
She spent one day in jail in December but was released on $5,000 bail after a not guilty plea. But no, she will not pay a $10,000 fine and spent further days in jail should she be convicted. The 20-year-old mom was placed only on two years of probation. She must also reportedly complete 30 days of inpatient treatment and subsequent outpatient treatment based on evaluation. She was also ordered to obtain her high school diploma and put aside $10,000 to start a college fund for her daughter Leah.
