Twinkle Khanna aka Tina Khanna is not just Dimple Kapadia and Rajesh Khanna’s daughter, Rinkie Khanna’s sister and Akshay Kumar’s wife, she is also a mother and was one of the leading ladies of Bollywood.
Twinkle was born on 29th December, 1974 in Pune. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall and has acquired her mother’s great looks.
Short Bollywood Career:
• Twinkle’s first film was Barsaat (1995), a typical boy-meets-girl story; it was a hit, and Twinkle got instant recognition.
• Her next film was Jaan (1996). Starring Ajay Devgn, this action/romantic flick didn’t too well.
• She appeared with Salman Khan in Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai (1998), with Akshay Kumar in Zulmi (1999), with Shah Rukh Khan in Baadshah (1999), with Aamir Khan in Mela (2000), with Govinda and Sanjay Dutt in Jodi No 1 (2001).
• In her last film Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega (2001) she was paired opposite Fardeen Khan.
• Twinkle was also seen in a Telugu film Seenu (1999) starring Venkatesh.
Fun facts:
Twinkle shares her birthday with her father; he was born exactly 30 years before her, on the same day.
She was only 21 when she starred in Barsaat.
She won a Filmfare award for Best Debut for her role in Barsaat.
She had an eye surgery to rectify her slight cross-eye condition.
She has a son named Araav.She co-runs an interior design store in Mumbai, called White Window
